The Book of the Great Invisible Spirit: A Duality of Light and Darkness

  One of the first text titles mentioned in the early days of newspaper reporting on the Nag Hammadi Library was mention of The Book of the Great Invisible Spirit .  I wonder what that book might be about...so let's see what AI has to say about it, shall we? The Qabalah and Me, Part I

  This new year, I picked up a used copy of a book that is supposed to help "one better understand the Qabalah."  The book was written by author Will Parfitt; the title is The New Living Qabalah: A Practical Guide to Understanding the Tree of Life.   All that said, this past week, I started the book and managed to get through two exercises to get the journey rolling.  The first exercise recommended by the author was to think of an image that represents what the understanding the Qabalah means to me, and then to draw it out.  So I did.      The image that popped into my head?  A fruiting dandelion...so I drew that out.   The next step was to think of a place that brought me happiness...any place in the world.  To be honest, to me, that place is to be on the shores of Lake Superior.  So I imagined myself there...concentrated on the experiences there, and then brought myself back to my bedroom and stated "I am here."...
