What the Archons Look Like to Me, Part I

Once more, if you found this post, you don’t need a definition as to what an Archon is.  Years ago, at a very highly, highly, highly uneducated attempt to translate some original digital NHL texts online with the Google machine, my first sense of the source material was that Archons related to tax collectors.  Am I surprised that someone was bitching about tax collection in ancient Greece/Roman times?  Would I be surprised if the whole sensibility of Gnosticism was a gripe about church collection/state collection of personal funds?

Absolutely not!

Money makes the world go round, and human beings love it, cherish it, and will do whatever it takes to get more of it.  If you take it away from someone…look out.

Yet, that isn’t as exciting as some other work and thoughts on Archons.  Archons being a symbol of the tax man?  George Harrison would probably agree…but let’s pretend that Gnostic thought didn’t originate as a complaint about money collectors.  Let’s pretend there is something more to it all.

If I had to define what an Archon is, and how it is interpreted by a human being carrying a Divine Spark, I will give an example.  This example is based on three types of people who are on a spectrum of Gnosis.  They are:

Character A – completely asleep and highly ingrained in what might call the Matrix or the Grand Simulation that is reality

Character B – slightly asleep and slightly ingrained in what might be called the Matrix or the Grand Simulation that is reality

Character C – awake and aware of their indoctrination of what might be called the Matrix or the Grand Simulation that is reality

Now an example of what Archons represent in the Grand Simulation…at least to me.

The scenario is as such: each character is walking their dog early in the morning when there is little to no car traffic or pedestrian traffic.  Each character walks their dog towards a main thoroughfare from four city blocks.  After block one, there is no traffic seen on the main thoroughfare.  After block two, there is no traffic seen on the main.  After three blocks…still no traffic.  The character and their dog then walk up the final block and come to the major thoroughfare and suddenly there is a line of four cars that force the character and their dog to have to wait to cross the street.

So how does each character interpret this situation?

Character A likely isn’t even aware that the scenario has unfolded, and once stuck by the traffic, doesn’t get irritated or bothered by having to wait for four cars to pass.

Character B maybe had a sense that something was off and was slightly irritated by having to wait for the four cars to pass the street

Character C, however, is in a completely different mindset.  Character C notices that there is no traffic four blocks, and is hoping to get through the thoroughfare unimpeded.  Yet Character C also knows there is a good chance that Universe, meaning to ruin the walk, will suddenly manifest four cars in his/her way.  And sure enough, once to the main street, is stopped by four cars.

That Character, C, is me.  It’s a common occurrence on my morning walk with our dog.  It’s almost as if the Universe knows that I will be highly irritated by the four cars that appear out of nowhere, and then teases me for four blocks by letting me think I’ll get a free pass across the street.  Yet, at least I'm aware, right?

Maybe?

Now, what can I do with that information?  I will wait and think about writing for another day.... but if you have any ideas, please share them below!
